Description

Epeneta built to Monie drawings.

Caupona  was built to the amended Andrillot drawings, redrawn for the construction of Monie, and was therefore rigged accordingly.  She has the usual classic pre-war Giles version of a masthead bermudan sloop with two pairs of spreaders and an inner forestay.  This is tensioned with running backstays, whilst a single standing backstay is taken to a single, quite light, bumkin.
