V 126 Fab

Fab is a classic Cheoy Lee built boat with their usual high spec materials.   She had a quiet life based in Lymington for many years before being taken to Italy where she regularly races along with the rest of the Adriatic fleet of Vertues for their own cup in the October Barcolana regatta off Trieste.

Description

Fab was owned for many years by ‘Vertue Hero’ David Jackson-Smith and kept in Lymington.  He steered the Vertue Owners Association for twenty years and provided a great deal of information to Peter Woolass when he was writing his book Vertue.

Fab has the standard classic Cheoy Lee rig of the early 1960’s.  This was the normal rig for most Vertues up until the introduction of the grp Vertue II in 1976.

Fab V 126 when she was based in Lymington in the 1990’s.

Fab racing in the Barcolana regatta off Trieste in the northern Adriatic.
