V II 3 grp Faire Vertue

Thanks to Geoffrey Klestadt for getting in touch, we now know that Faire Vertue was shipped out to Melbourne by his father in about 1972, where she has remained ever since.  No wonder we couldn’t find her!

Faire Vertue is one of those few earlier grp Vertue II’s that were moulded by Seaglass for Westerly, before the moulds were taken over by Bossoms near Oxford.  Several of these were completed by their owners or other shipwrights, such as the famous Sparrow that subsequently doubled the Horn.
