V 12 KISHTI

Kishti is significant because she was the first Vertue to be built to the newly revised drawings showing a doghouse, long coachroof and a mast stepped upon it.  This daring arrangement had been shown by Laurent Giles to be feasible with the design of a much larger boat, Wapipi, before the war.

Kishti is also the first boat to be built following the decision to call this design the Vertue Class.
