V 101 Alaria

Alaria was owned for many years by delightful classic boat enthusiast, Bill Cabeen.  A highly respected surgeon in Los Angeles, Bill sadly died before his time, and Alaria found her way back to the East coast of USA, from whence she had come.  She was then given a deep refit at the Ballentines Boat Shop only to be hauled into another boatshed more recently.  It appears that her owner previous to Bill, had bought her back again and is retro-fitting her with a low coachroof, similar to that found in the early, ‘Monie’, class of boats.  However, it looks as if she will retain the higher freeboard of the later boats.
